Raleigh City Farm

Raleigh City Farm is a non-profit urban farm founded in 2011 on a formerly vacant, one-acre lot in downtown Raleigh. We believe in the power of urban farms to reduce waste, create healthier communities, and reconnect city dwellers with healthy food production through more frequent encounters with agriculture. We believe that turning vacant lots into productive, nourishing farmland can create something from nothing—an amenity from an eyesore.

We believe that urban farms can bring people together, make neighborhoods more beautiful and safe, and spur economic development and growth within their community. The mission of Raleigh City Farm is to grow the next generation of farmers by connecting their community to sustainable agriculture. We’ve hosted and supported many different farmers over the years to provide them with opportunities to experiment, learn, and grow.

Pure Farmland is growing
good across America

As one of the nation’s largest makers of plant-based proteins, Pure Farmland understands that good things are grown from the ground up. We believe in growing everyone’s access to fresh, local produce—so we launched our Pure Growth Project in 2020 as way to support community gardens in neighborhoods and preserve essential farmland where America’s food is grown. So each time you try one of Pure Farmland’s delicious, plant-based meatballs, breakfast links or patties, dinner links, protein starters and more, you can feel good knowing that we’re growing something good, together.
